I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Willakenzie Animal Clinic. When my cat had an emergency, they were able to get us in quickly, and from the very first phone call with Dawn, I felt like we were in caring hands. They was so kind and reassuring. When we arrived, Dawn and the rest of the team greeted us warmly, and my wife and I immediately felt comforted by how compassionate everyone was, especially since we were visibly upset about our cat being sick. Sarah was our vet tech, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly kind and did an amazing job explaining everything to us as she went, making sure we understood what was happening at every step. When Dr. Fischer came in, we had the same experience. She was so compassionate with both us and our kitty, took the time to explain what needed to happen to care for him, and put together a comprehensive quote for us. Sarah then walked us through every line item so we understood what was medically necessary and what was optional. They gave us private time to discuss everything and make a decision without feeling pressured, which meant so much to us during an already stressful situation. Once we decided to move forward, the communication throughout the process was incredible. They kept me updated, clearly explained what to expect, and made sure we always knew what was happening. I was already extremely happy with our experience, but I was genuinely blown away when they called the next morning just to check on my cat and see how he was doing. They also let me know about follow-up appointments, their weekend hours, and even gave us a way to text our vet if we needed advice. Unfortunately, I had recently taken my other cat to a different vet in Veneta. I was charged a significant amount of money and told that my cat was as healthy as could be, only for him to pass away shortly afterward. That experience made me especially grateful for the thoroughness, communication, and compassion I received at Willakenzie. Every person we interacted with was kind, communicative, professional, and genuinely caring. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also felt completely safe and welcomed here, which is something I deeply appreciate. I truly wouldn't recommend any other vet. We will continue bringing our cat here for as long as we live in the area. I am incredibly grateful to the entire Willakenzie team for taking such wonderful care of both our cat and us.

I’ve been bringing my pet here for years and have always had excellent service! The remodel they did has of course made the facility nicer, but it’s also clear they kept in mind comfort & your pet’s needs. I’ve personally interacted with Dr. Brohl, Dr. Fischer, Sarah, Natalie, and a few others techs and front office staff. Every interaction has been positive, professional, and kind. The only drawback I could think of is this vet is a little pricier than others locally. I have heard this only when comparing exam prices with a friend, not from personal experience. Overall, I highly recommend this office and their care.
